"Freddi Fish, Putt-Putt, and Pajama Sam are some of my favorite games I've made, and they don't get the recognition they deserve because a lot of people just look at them as games for kids. The idea of doing classic adventure games for kids came from watching four- and five-year-olds playing Monkey Island. They couldn't read, so they had no idea what the story was or even why they were doing the things they were doing. But they just loved running Guybrush around and clicking on objects and opening doors and seeing new things. That really was the brainstorm behind just building true adventure games for kids that had simpler puzzles and were fully voiced."

It is suitable for them but it is recommended 11+ and you don't know why.

More like probably in the PG range. I haven't seen anything worse than the stuff they had in the Shrek movies, so it wouldn't be rated more than that.
