Scummvm shortcuts

when I bought games to play off of steam, a shortcut on the desktop appeared. clicking on it runs the game on scummvm.
steam has some way of making a shortcut for a specific game on scummvm, without running the launcher first! do you know how they do this?

There's just one word that says it all! Args! Just pass the game ID listed in the launcher as an argument in the shortcut (in target)

For example: "C:\Scummvm\Scummvm.exe" puttputt

If a game with ID Putt-Putt (as listed in the launcher's game options) is in your default Scummvm config it will just launch. You can use a custom config file with the arg --config=CONFIG [path to custom config file] (The Steam games do this to avoid messing up and pre-existing Scummvm installation, in effect, they become portable in a way.)

If you buy a Scummvm game on GOG you can see this in action, as they use regular shortcuts.

how to you assign args to a file?

Right click the shortcut, properties, write them in "target"
