I just found a program that extracts .HE4 files!

I'm dead serious here. I was just googling around when I found this. A thread on the LucasForums linked me to this page, which is where you can download the extractor. Simply tell it where the .he4 file is, where you want the files saved, and then click the extract button. It actually works, and I tested it to make sure!
Legoking, this should make your HumongousSoundtracks channel much easier to update!

It can do that... but not well.

HEErip is probably your best bet for extracting resources in HE games. Unless you want to extract MIDI files from the DOS games, there's no real reason to use any others.

It's hardly perfect though and no longer being updated. Its creator wrote it as a learning project and thinks he did a horrible job with it as far as programming is concerned.
