Playing Freddi Fish in a Web Browser
OKAY, yes, the title is sort of click-bait but I am technically playing Freddi Fish in the browser.
This is ScummJS not SCUMM running natively in the browser. What is ScummJS? Well it's a toolkit built off CreateJS to easily start making Point-and-Click Adventures in the same style as HE games. As I write more code it begins to loose focus on why I made it, to be simple enough anyone could pick up the kit and start making Adventure Games.
Right now it's in private beta, here is a screenshot of the Freddi Demo(click to see full-res).
I was going to do an overhaul on the loading system for slower machines but I am slowly turning my eyes on to an already built toolkit for Unity. I'm not much of a fan of Unity but it is certainly something to look at.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
