Recent Humongous happenings
In the past few days, there's been several pieces of news surrounding HE. The one I found most notable is the fact that 7 more Jr. Adventures were put on iOS meaning that, aside from Fatty Bear and the 2 YAGA engine games, all the Jr. Adventures are finally on mobile.
The other news has had to do with Humongous becoming a publishing brand for kid's games that have nothing to do with the HE of old. First up is the "Little Boy" series of games from Kids' Mania, a division of French-based Anuman Interactive. In return, it seems kids' Mania will be publishing some of Humongous' iOS games in Europe. I don't really have an opinion on this one since I've never heard of these games and have no intention of buying them.
Finally, Humongous is publishing 2 3DS eShop games, a Garfield Kart racer and some sort of tie-in game with that recent Paddington movie. While I understand them wanting to expand Humongous' scope, these seem like textbook examples of shovelware and I really hope they won't dilute the brand by just slapping HE's logo on any mediocre kids game that comes their way.

Now they are doing something for charity. That or a fundraiser. the Humble Bundle,
They'll sell Putt-Putt Car Fresheners and Pajama Sam socks (can you believe that? something to go with the first game!) and you can buy it as long if you buy the HE bundle.

And yet we still never see them make new Junior Adventure games based on Putt-Putt, Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, Spy Fox and Fatter Bear...

Research reveals that Kids Mania did publish the Paddington game mentioned, but only psychically (Tommo distributed the digital issue)
