Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing

Does anyone ever heard of this game? I heard That its one of The Worst Racing Video Game ever made.

Not sure it even counts as a game.

It's a great 'interactive screensaver' though You can even press and hold down the down key to go back at infinite speed, and if you let go of the down key you stop instantly! (But I bet you already know that ).

Screensavers save your screen by keeping moving images on it, preventing CRT burn-in. Screensavers with static graphics just... fail.

if you have a very old laptop and don't have a screensaver then the image will burn onto the screen.

Static images in a screensaver will burn into the screen just as well as any desktop element will. Screensavers that only contain moving graphics are the best. (But, these days I just set short sleep timers. Screensavers feel weird on modern screens and CRTs suck so much energy I might as well just have them shut off when not being used.)

Me too, but I still like screensavers because some are like cartoons (eg. After Dark), so what I do is treat them like videos, by opening the scr file and 'watching' it for a bit.

That's fine. And After Dark, it's full of movement. Works very well as a screensaver too.

Yep. Funny how this thread about Big Rigs turned into a screensaver thread.
