Humongous Entertainment at E3
I'm kinda surprised that no ones brought this up yet. I think it's really cool how Humongous showcased alot of their games at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, though since you need to be over 17 to go to E3 it seems kinda strange they invested the money to attend. Feel free to post any findings you have with HE at E3 I'll just share some general things. I'm pretty sure everyone's aware of the E3 Demos .ini setting for some of the games.
Below is a list of what games were shown off at E3 and the year.
EDIT: Missed a few.
E3 1996: Pajama Sam 1, Freddi Fish 2, Both of Freddi Fish's and Putt-Putt's Junior Arcades
E3 1997: Spy Fox in Dry Cereal, Big Thinkers, Backyard Baseball, Pajama Sam's Sockworks
E3 1998: Pajama Sam 2, Blue’s Birthday Adventure, Blue’s ABC Time Activities, Putt-Putt Enters the Race, Freddi Fish 3, Backyard Soccer
E3 1999: Spy Fox 2, Backyard Football, Blue's Treasure Hunt, Jr. Sports Network
EDIT: Acording to GiantBomb.com Humongous was at E3 2000 and 2001. I'm sure not what they showed off there. Humongous made no appearance at E3 2002 or later.
Here's an article with Pictures from E3 1999 (they may or may not show up at first) http://web.archive.org/web/20010210010245/http://www.humongous.com/About_Us/parents/Pr/More/News/e3pics.htm
Below is a video of E3 1999 and at 1:54 you can briefly see Humongous's booth! Though unfortunately that's pretty much all you ever see of HE (aside from a brief showing of Jerry Rice at the booth 2:42)

If anyone finds any other info, footage, pictures or anything, feel free to share it.

Re: Humongous Entertainment at E3
Sweet find! Could this mean that the games you mentioned also have E3 settings?

Re: Humongous Entertainment at E3
Putt Race and Spy Fox 2 are the only adventure games listed that aren't known to have E3 demos in their ini settings. There are also no known E3 demos for the Jr. Arcades, Blues Clues, etc. though it's worth noting that Backyard Basketball has an E3 demo setting that simply disables being able to start a season or look at the Hall of Fame.
Edit: Also, these screens from E3 for Backyard Skateboarding might be worth a look, as they show an early interface and HUD as well as placeholder models for the pedestrians AND a picture of they rooftop level that wouldn't be released until the GOTY edition. Link

Re: Humongous Entertainment at E3
Theoretically, could we put E3 codes into the INI for Spy Fox 2 and get a previously unknown E3 demo? I might try that with my copy of one of these games actually now that I think about it...

Re: Humongous Entertainment at E3
Something interesting is that while Pajama Sam 2 does have an E3Demo setting "E3Demo=60598" it doesn't seem to do anything, if there was an E3Demo, that could explain why dialogue for the demo is in the full game. Something strange in the .HE2, is that there is dialogue for Sam, in which he says "In this Demo" Followed by "I need save..." any of the four weather machine parts, not just the Snowflake Inspector. Implying that in the E3 Demo, it would change everytime you played it. (maybe) But I think more likely than not it just wasn't implemented in time for E3 so why may never know for sure.
Re: Humongous Entertainment at E3
Nah, the strangest part is that the demo dialog is dubbed in every version of the game. Even in languages like French and Russian that had no demo.

I wish they are going back to E3 - which is every gamer's holiday.
