Info on Big Thinkers 2nd Grade
Some googling found me with the jist of what Big Thinkers 2nd Grade was going to be:

I think it's safe to assume that Big Thinkers 2nd Grade in fact exists, but somehow never got released. It's a shame, I would have liked to see how HE made the Sticker Toons activity.
Big Thinkers Second Grade(tm) will be available in early 1998 for $29.95 on hybrid CD-ROM for Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and Macintosh. This title enhances skills taught in the second-grade curriculum, covering simple multiplication, reading comprehension, addition and subtraction of large numbers, compound words, vocabulary, states of matter, creative pattern play, planet science, U.S. geography and much more. Examples of the activities are:
-- Ant math. The twins discover an underground ant farm. They grow extra arms and hands and multiply themselves so kids can help them perform counting activities.
-- Spider-web words. A spider web inspires Becky to hop on the web and grow four pairs of limbs, each pair a different color. On both sides of the screen, little spiders carry cards with words on them. By connecting matching-colored limbs to related word cards kids can form compound words. In other activities, kids can match related words such as antonyms, synonyms and homonyms.
-- Sticker toons. The twins see an unfinished piece of art and turn themselves into art tools so kids can creatively complete pictures. Kids can use a variety of special animated stickers to complete the picture or to create their very own animated designs.

I wonder if this would have been like the JumpStart series and continued through 6th Grade or so. That would have been kinda neat, but these never really got picked up like the Adventure and Sports games did.
Small Company + Unpopular Franchise = Nix. Shame really, I liked the first two. The interface was refreshing since it was more flashy than in other HE series.

That would have been interesting--I guess HE realized that Jump Start was too big a franchise to compete with.
I agree, Big Thinkers was awesome. It had a theme song for crying out loud! You don't get much better than that. :P

And an ear-wormy one at that. It certainly doesn't help that it shows up ALL OVER THE PLACE in the games.

Aww, I always liked the song. Oh well, to each their own.
I do agree with you that they overused it in the background music though, Legoking. At best, it should have been in the starting room and maybe one or two more.

That would've been cool, especially the Sticker Toons activity, which seems kinda similar to Orly's Draw A Story!

I would be interested to try the Sticker Toons Activity, but the game has been unreleased. I like JumpStart games too!
