If you have more than 2GB of memory I recommend you upgrade to a 64 bit OS. How's the CRT anyway? I'm still in the market for a good HD CRT. Hehehe.

Sounds like an oldish PC, and a very expensive one at that. Oh, Apple! You cards!

Well, it is a notebook. Apple reserves superlative power for iMacs.

Post your system specs - Page 2 Empty My Machine Specs

Post by zacharynoah92 on Sun May 20, 2018 7:59 pm

I currently own two computers. Here are the machine specs for these two computers below.

Computer #1
Manufacturer: Dell
System Model: Inspiron 22 3264
Computer Type: All-in-One Desktop PC
BIOS Version: 2.0.3
Operating System: Manjaro Linux (replacing Windows 10)
Processor: 7th Generation Intel Core i3-7100u Dual-Core at 2.4GHz
RAM: 6GB
Hard Drive: 1TB primary hard drive
Other Storage: One built-in tray-loading DVD writer
Monitor: 21.5" Built-in LED touchscreen at 1080p Full HD resolution
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 620 (Integrated into the CPU)
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio (Originally came with Waves MaxxAudio Pro)
Current Age: Approximately one year old

Computer #2
Manufacturer: Lenovo
System Model: IdeaCentre B320 7760-3CU
Computer Type: Same as computer #1
BIOS Version: DXKT33A
Operating System: Same as computer #1
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core G640 at 2.8GHz
RAM Memory: 8GB (upgraded from 4GB)
Hard Drive: Same as computer #1 (replacing my dead 500GB primary hard drive, which originally came in this computer)
Other Storage: Same as computer #1
Monitor: Same as computer #1
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics (Also integrated into the CPU)
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio (Originally came with Dolby Advanced Audio V2)
Current Age: Approximately six years old

On both systems, I'm using the earliest supported version of Windows (Windows 7 until 2020, and Windows 8.1 until 2023) as my guest OS on VirtualBox for one sole reason: for full compatibility with Apple's iTunes and my iPhone. WINE on Linux simply won't cut it until it becomes mature enough to support iTunes without any problems or workarounds.
