Putt-Putt Joins the Circus Game Beta?

This is something that has perplexed me since I came across it on Google Images, it's apparently a prerelease/beta of Putt-Putt Joins the Circus, used for previewing purposes presumably. The page makes little to no mention of the beta itself other than the picture and title. The disc has the number and email for someone named "Kerry Glassbur" who probably worked at Humongous at some point. I have no idea if the game itself is any different from the retail game.

It's just interesting...   

I know the French trailer I uploaded contains beta footage where THE GAME HAS A DIFFERENT TITLE.

Yeah that is kind of funny how they just flat out changed the title!  Other than that the only difference I noticed was the train crossing sign. There's probably more had the trailer shown more..

Yeah. I tried to ask the translator about it, no response yet. I didn't notice the sign though, I'll have to look closely!
EDIT: Ok, they look the same. What are you on?
EDIT 2: Looking closer, I did notice the gas gauge reads E/F, meaning that they forgot to translate it at that point. FAIL.

Actually now that I look at the French version itself, the sign is just a change within the dub itself...  my bad lol

What, were you focusing on the km part? Yeah, the French use sane systems of measurements!!

I meant the triangular sign on the right side with the train   it's different in the English version and I mistook it as a beta thing..

I believe they're part of the Museum of Play collection in New York, but I don't live anywhere near there and the last time I went...well, let's just say we had far more important things on our mind. I tried e-mailing the guy who donated it at one point, but never heard back.

and speaking of that, is this referring to the circus demo game I have on Freddi 5?
