As I think I've mentioned before, I'm back and better than ever. If you didn't want to read my other post, then here's the link to the site I was curious about: http://legendsworld.net/

Tom McMail composed the music for Putt-Putt Joins the Parade and Fatty Bear, right? Well, he was a Manley and Associates regular and Humongous chose him to do the music for both games. He composed for other games, too. (mostly at M&A) His music is trademarked with dancing notes and insane percussion. Here's a list of the games he's composed music for:

Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos for MSDOS
Home Alone for the Amiga and MSDOS * (this is the only Amiga game he worked on)
Free D.C.! (one of the few games he worked on with actual profanity in it! Yes, really!)
Are we There Yet? * (most of the games Tom McMail worked on didn't have any sound effects, and when there was sound it was mostly PC Speaker SFX, and this game was one of those cases)
Risk '92
Take a Break Crosswords (this game was made by Dynamix and was one of the few Windows games with MT32 support, apparently)
Night Creatures * (this was one of the few Tom McMail games not to be released on PC, but rather on the TurboGrafx-16, which I think did better in Japan)
Putt-Putt Joins the Parade (obviously)
Inspector Gadget in Global Terror! (this game wasn't developed by M&A, let alone Humongous. It was developed by a company called Azeroth, consisting of a team of latter Humongous and EA Kids members)
Storybook Weaver * (although uncredited, I can prove that Tom McMail really worked on this game with M&A! You can tell by the trademark dancing notes in the Intro music. There is an updated version of the game called Storybook Weaver Deluxe, which basically took some of McMail's work, (mainly the original SBW) and (for some reason) took out the drums and optimised it for GM. Some songs, such as the carousel and boogie music, aren't composed by him. Instead, they're composed by Learning Company regular Aaron Weiss)
Little People Farm * (the gameplay is just about AWOL, but the music? HOO, BOY!)
Little People Main Street * (some people believe this gameplay is actually equal to its music compared to Farm. And they're right)
Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise (also obviously)
An American Tail: Fievel goes West * (not much to say about this one, except the music wasn't actually from the movie, but rather Tom McMail's own songs)

Some of the songs from these games are actually quite upbeat sounding. McMail sometimes reuses his songs in his games, even going so far as to recycling the same song in the same game. (he recycled the intro music from Little People Main Street for the main theme of an American Tail, for example)

And in case anyone's wondering, my favourite song by Tom McMail is the tractor theme from Little People Farm. It is the most underrated song in the game.

* indicates the game was developed by M&A

Very interesting. The "Parade" music is pretty memorable, I will say. In fact, his HE music translate rather well to General MIDI, when done right...

For Putt-Putt Joins the Parade, I can't stop humming at the music. They've even reused it in Putt-Putt goes to the moon demo, Putt-Putt Fun Pack + Activity Pack, and a hidden toy store track in Freddi Fish 5.
