Favorite Junior Arcade Games
At one point in time or another, we've played these games to entertain us. They did that (and them some) so I just wanted to know, what are your favorite Junior Arcade games?
Re: Favorite Junior Arcade Games
Balloon-o-Rama, definitely.

Sock Works, despite the fact that I rarely played it when I was little. Nowadays I can appreciate it as a good, challenging puzzle game.
Re: Favorite Junior Arcade Games
Cheese Chase was always a favorite.
Least favorite is easily Water Worries. The Freddi Arcades were terrible imo.

Balloon-o-Rama. According to my 486, I think the PCount for it was over 100. The only other game on that machine that even came close was Spy Fox 1, and that was only because it was one of the first ones I got!
Actually, Maze Madness wasn't that bad, in fact I actually think it's really addicting. It also seems to have the largest fanbase of all the Junior Arcades.CDCB wrote:Cheese Chase was always a favorite.

I guess I'm in the minority who didn't like Maze Madness. Got pretty bored with it as a kid, though now that I'm older I suppose I should probably give it another shot. :P

To add my 2 cents, I LOVED Dog On A Stick as a kid. I still have the original CD.
Re: Favorite Junior Arcade Games
My favorite Junior Arcade games are Putt-Putt and Pep's Balloon-o-Rama and Putt-Putt and Pep's Dog on a Stick. I love the Putt-Putt series a lot.

Maze Madness was always my favorite, though that may just be due to the fact that it was the only one I owned until i was about 10.

Spy Fox in Cheese Chase is not only my favorite arcade game but also a historical monument to me because THIS is the game that introduced me to the Humongous Entertainment franchise.

Re: Favorite Junior Arcade Games
"Maze Madness". Something I really liked was how the background changed every 5 levels.
"Sock Works" seem very promising - I first discovered the "Lost Luggage" minigame in "Let's Explore the Airport" (I'm not sure if "minigame" is the right word because it would be more precise to say "Lost Luggage" is just a game and "Let's Explore the Airport" isn't really a game, but a thematic interactive encyclopedia for children) and didn't know there was more of it in form of "Sock Works". However, to be honest, it seems more difficult than "Lost Luggage"... maybe it's a shame to admit you don't get something in a game for children ;), but I'm stuck on the level with lots of sock-dyeing, the one where the whole background is obscured by conveyor belts and paint buckets.
However, I haven't played all of the Junior Arcade games... I'm wondering about one thing: I can see in screenshots from "Balloon-o-Rama" that some paint buckets hanging from balloons in later levels are white - does it mean that Putt-Putt gets an extra color to use in this game?
