Moonbase Commander now on GOG.com!

The tile pretty much says it all. Never played this game, but for only $6 I'll probably pick it up sometime in the future.

This release gives me hope that we'll eventually see the Jr. Adventures on there as well. Some people might think that they'd never get released since they're too "edutaining", but they've got The Manhole on there, which was one of the first kid's adventure games ever. I'm not giving up all hope.

And I hope the BBC videogames (probably Magic of Toytown) and the Living Books will be on there pretty soon!

Wanderful has at least said that they're planning on releasing new versions of Living Books for PC and Mac, though whether they do it through digital distribution is up to them I suppose.

The alternative is retail, and in North America, the retail market almost doesn't exist. (In Europe however they're doing great! They even got a special retail release of SOMI SE!)

Just as a heads-up, Moonbase Commander (as well as both Total Annihilation games) are 60% off this weekend on GOG.com!

Hmm... ok. I might buy a third item from ebay though. :D
