Gametap...
I saw that on Gametap.com they have all 5 Freddi Fish Adventures (plus Water Worries and a One-Stop Fun Shop), all 4 Pajama Sam Adventures (and 2 Arcades), and 2 out of 3 Spy Fox Adventures (they're missing Operation Ozone which is available on Atari.com). Do the games downloaded from Gametap work on modern computers (i.e. Windows 7)?

Re: Gametap...
if there the Updated Versions Totally YES they will work, if freddi 1 and pajama 1 are the originals, then you got two ways to play them 1st use scummVM or 2nd follow the link below labeled 2!

Re: Gametap...
I believe the gametap versions have DRM that prevent them from working with scummvm. (And/or the ones on atari's site)
Re: Gametap...
Actually the ones on Atari's site actually do work with ScummVM.

Re: Gametap...
Oh, awesome! I once saw some download versions that had some crappy DRM that prevented them from running in scummvm. It was some "trialware" thing where you got to play the full game for 30 minutes (obviously a bad idea with some HE games!) and then you had to unlock them. The EXE and datafiles were both encrypted. I also heard that this DRM happened to have... security issues. FUN...
Re: Gametap...
GeorgeQGreg, you're probably thinking of GameHouse. They have Freddi Fish 2 and 5 and Pajama Sam 1, and while I haven't bought those games from the website I have bought other games from there and they did have the "trialware" thing you're talking about.

Re: Gametap...
No, the ones I saw were (the only ones I remember anyway) Putt Parade, Moon, and Fatty Bear. Not the best ones to let you try for 30 minutes! :D

Oh, the old boring ones? (I haven't played them, I've just seen video reviews of them and they look dreadful.)
Atari doesn't sell Putt-Putt games online anymore because they don't own the trademark to the name "Putt-Putt". (The golf course company does so Atari has to pay it in order to sell Putt-Putt games.) Atari (via "Humongous Inc.") does own the trademarks to Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, Junior Field Trips, and the Backyard Sports that aren't Baseball (and Skateboarding but no one cares about that one).
