Post your Latest Dream here

Post by Pizzaking27 on Thu Oct 18, 2012 1:23 pm

Ahh, dreams! Whoever invented them must've had too many asthma meds! Every night you must be ready to go on these kinds of acid trips, because otherwise, you'd feel rather sloppy! Dreams can get pretty funky from time to time! And because they're so popular, that Disney even made a film that was a dream in 1939 called Fantasia.

Sometimes you can have bad dreams, called nightmares, which is the half-Trope Namer for Nightmare Fuel!

Well, here's the dream I had last night:

It all started on a sunny day. A direct-to-video-like movie based on the Disney cartoon Bambi (1942) (that somehow stated that it was released in 1997) was on my TV! In my dream, I decided to watch it. On the TV, there was the protagnist waking up in his den. He got up and saw his dad say "Good morning" to him. He asks if he can go outside and play and his dad agrees, and then he says "But only if you don't get into any trouble!" Bambi then goes outside and meets his best friend Thumper. Thumper tells him that he found a lake somewhere in the forest. He guides Bambi to where the lake was, and the lake appears to be in between the forest, and right next to Flower's (the skunk who literally loved flowers) house. Bambi thought it was amazing, and decided tell his friends about it! So he and Thumper wake Flower up and said "Good morning" to him. Flower looks very drousy when he wakes up. Bambi and Thumper then tell him that there's a lake next to his house, so he goes outside and checks. He couldn't believe it! There was a lake next to his house! So the threesome go and tell Owl that they found a lake in the forest, so they show him the lake, then the rest of Bambi's friends join Bambi, and found themselves amazed to see one in the forest! Bambi decided to have a little dip in it, so he puts one leg in and...SPLASH! falls in. The water got freezing cold at first, but he still got the hang of it before long. He says to his friends "Come on in! The water's fine!" And they did. Flower took some flowers with him to give them a little drink. They played in the lake, and had a lot of fun in there. After a few minutes, Bambi's dad appears and and says "Come on, Bambi! Time to go!" Bambi says that he can't stay for long, so he waves goodbye to all his friends, and comes with his dad. Where were Bambi and his dad going, you may ask? To attend a tea party in the Pridelands. There was Simba, Nala, their daughter Kiara, Kovu, the infamous Timon and Pumbaa, and my personal favourite Disney characters, the hyenas, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, all having a tea party in the Pridelands, then along came Bambi and his dad, who had a cup of tea and a chat with them. But before I could watch the whole conversation, I realized that I forgot to go to school this morning, so I got ready for and went to school as fast as I could! It wasn't my normal school I always go to. It was a different school. My classroom in my dream looked like my real one, but there was a LOT of changes, such as there not being a door next to the chalkboard, and the walls being sky blue, instead of pea green. My teacher set up a tea party for the whole class and I, just like in the film. Then after a few minutes, I played Sheila Rae, the Brave on a computer, but it didn't seem like the original game. Instead, the pallete was stronger than usual, and she was in a field, and her friends were having a tea party, whilst she was having a fight with the big black dog who lived round the block, Capone. And then, outside the dream cloud, I woke up thinking "Phew! That's a lot of tea parties!" Weird, (unless you think of the Tea Party event in Teletubbies) huh?

Now it's over to you! What is your latest dream?

I think it was last night that I had a dream where I was in a HUGE video game store. How huge was it? They had an entire room of selection for Gamecube games.
Anyways, I only remember snippets of it. For example, they for some reason had this giant computerized musical instrument, that was basically a long guitar that had strings that vibrated on their own. There were also shallow kiddy pools to play in for some reason. They also didn't just have games. They had tons of merchandise related to games as well. I think I remember seeing some sort of Animal Crossing figure set displayed on a shelf. I don't remember exactly how it ended, but I think I might have walked out of there with a copy of GTAIV for the 3DS (I wish it were even on there...).
Also, a while back I had a dream where I met GeorgeQGreg, and he had the ability to transform into a hamster. Just thought I'd put that out there.

I wish I could go to a store like that! Also, the dream with GQG could transform into a hamster? Pretty weird, even more so than my dreams! Dreams are like an episode of Teletubbies! And they had GTA 4 for 3DS? I remember having a dream where I was in a store and they had New Super Mario Bros. for the Sega Genesis on one of the shelfs, but under the name of New Super Mario Bros. 93!

This'll surprise GQG! Last night, I had a dream where I was in a computer store, like PC World, but black and green, instead of white and purple, (representing the Android's true colors) and they returned the game that was broken before, but finnally fixed. I think it was a Diablo clone, which was developed by (are you ready for this?) a German company called Tivola! Tivola also made kids games like Max and Mary and Oscar's Hot-Air Balloon. Afterwards, we had a quick look around the shop, but the dream only lasted for 1 minute before my younger sister could wake me up for school, sadly...

To bump the topic, last night I had a dream where I was invited round my friend's house, which was actually a charity shop in my town, and I went upstairs and saw my friend playing on a PSX. Upstairs he had more PSX games than I thought he did! Why, he even had Klonoa 1! He also had 2 Teletubbies PSX games. One was the normal real life Play with the Teletubbies (worst videogame ever), and the other was just called Teletubbies. It was like Play with, only there was a [Please Talk Properly] of a lot differences! It also stated that it was released in 2006, which was when they stopped making PSX videogames, or episodes of Teletubbies. My friend told me in real life that he had Rugrats: Studio Tour. it was even mentioned in the dream, but I couldn't get to see it, because he brought me outside before he could show me. Oh well, at least I had a whale of a time losing gravity like I was on a bungee watching buses with him! The night before I had a dream where I bought GBA versions of (are you ready for this?) Pajama Sam 2 and Pajama Sam 4! I got them at a videogame store. It also had Gamecube versions of the Pajama Sam quadrilogy! Those games I couldn't play, which was quite a recurring dream, really...

Reminds me of the time I had a dream where I was in a store and saw a Wii game called Pajama Sam: Italian Wines. The best part? It was rated Adults Only because there were pornographic images in a sticker-collection minigame!

Bumping this topic, I had TWO weird dreams just recently.

Day before yesterday I dreamt that I was seated in this massive circus tent for some big-screen presentation... which was actually a demonstration of every single product mentioned in the October 1994 issue of CD-ROM Today magazine, played in the sequence the products appeared in the magazine.

The next day, I dreamt that I mysteriously happened across a double CD-ROM box set from 1992 that had something to do with space somewhere in my house. It was created by Canadian software developers Arc Media (who actually weren't founded until 1993, adding to the weirdness of the dream). Due to my fascination with Arc Media and early 90's CD-ROM titles from the beginning of the multimedia boom in general, I decided to open up the box, and lo and behold, laying besides the two main CD-ROMs was actually some still-sealed rap album from the period of 1999-2001!

I sort of imagine it as a horrible developer easter egg that can only be activated through an ini setting. This being the post-Hot Coffee era the ESRB is required to be shown unused content still in the game's datafiles. I imagine a similar scandal involving this game.

Ewwwww! But I had some dreams. In the one of them, I was at the arcade place with a card on my hand. The best part is, on my card were Pajama Sam's family, with one of them being black, adding strangeness to it. I thought it was Sam's big brother Mark?

The only way I can imagine anyone in Pajama Sam being black is if they happen to be whatever Darkness happens to be. Does it make me racist that I can't imagine a real life race in a world populated by technicolor people?
Also, I had a dream a while back where I met Jason Ellefson, AKA Putt-Putt. He seemed like a genuinely nice person actually, despite having an... ahem... undesirable profession.

So the last night I had this dream, it was a dream that I was watching my own Spy Fox in Dry Cereal Full Soundtrack video. Then I was playing Spy Fox in Dry Cereal and was at the end, but rather than the normal chase, I was at the S.S. Deadweight, but no one was there and it was miles from shore. I entered the room with the clock, and ended up in the first room of Kid's Fortress. I went into the locker room, but ended up in the one building that connected the island to the fortress. Inside was William the Kid, just waiting with a giant torture chamber thingy, Spy Fox was captured and put into it. It was used the frighten Spy Fox with horrific imagery of terrorism as William the Kid laughs.

So this was basically the "Bad Ending" but much more "Bad" with an actual consequence for losing. I thought this was real until I woke up and realized it was a dream and fake. I tend to believe dreams until I wake up, then I am disappointed.

Last night, I had a dream where I started a production company (I can't figure out its name) and started a licensed reality TV show for kids based on the Putt-Putt series called "Cartown Adventures." Here are the names of the sound effect/music libraries I dreamed about using to produce the episodes:

The Hollywood Edge:

Premiere Edition Volume 1
Premiere Edition Volume 2
Premiere Edition Volume 3
Super Single Volume 1
Super Single Volume 2
Cartoon Trax Volumes 1-2
Edge Edition Volumes 1-3

Sound Ideas:

The Mix Broadcast Music Library Volume 1
The Mix Broadcast Music Library Volume 2
The Mix Broadcast Music Library Volume 5
The Mix Broadcast Music Library Volume 6
The Mix Broadcast Music Library Volume 11
Warner Bros. Sound Effects Library
Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects Library
20th Century Fox Sound Effects Library
Universal Studios Sound Effects Library
LucasFilm Sound Effects Library
Series 4000 Hollywood Sound Effects Library

Digital Juice:

BackTraxx Music Library Volume 1
BackTraxx Music Library Volume 2

By the time, Putt-Putt and I were the first two main characters of the show. It was kind of fun dreaming about it.

Last night's dream for some reason involved me being at Hogwarts, which for some reason was inside a church I used to go to. Apparently there was some sort of mind control plot that was also affecting the teachers. Also, there was a secret underground miniature area that you could only get to by crawling into a tiny knothole at the bottom of a tree (not the Whomping Willow, for any Potter fans out there) or by flushing yourself down a toilet with a secret "water ranking", whatever that means. Oh, and the last part of my dream was me snapping everyone out of their mind controlled state by singing "Mega Man 3 Title Screen With Lyrics" by Brentalfloss. My dreams tend to not make sense most of the time.

I had a short dream this morning where I stayed in London, UK for a vacation. In the dream, I went to a bookstore and found a copy of the UK version of Putt-Putt's Night Before Christmas, and guess what? It was distributed by BBC Audiobooks! Then I went to a thrift store and found the UK versions of Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, the HE classics, and Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise (I know these games were never released in the UK). These things were fun to dream about.

SCENE: The old shed out on Valley Road from Putt-Putt Enters the Race. The shed is not on fire, but Putt-Putt calls 911 anyway. Smokey arrives.

SMOKEY: Why Putt-Putt! You've reported a fire when there isn't one!

PUTT-PUTT: Yes there is.

SMOKEY: No there isn't it! Look over there!

PUTT-PUTT: Excuse me for a second.

Putt-Putt goes to the shed, gets out a match, strikes it on himself, and lights the shed on fire. He returns to Smokey.

PUTT-PUTT: There's a fire!

Smokey is alarmed, and goes to put out the fire. He returns to Putt-Putt.

SMOKEY: Why, I ought to slap you silly for what you've done!

Putt-Putt turns around, his bumper facing Smokey. He begins shaking it.

PUTT-PUTT: Ok, you know I like it!

End. Maybe I need a p-psychiatrist.

I had an oddly specific dream the other night. I've been playing a lot of Poker Night at the Inventory 2 recently, but in my dream I was playing Go Fish Night at the Inventory. It was similar to Poker Night, except the game was Go Fish and the opponents were Putt-Putt, Freddi Fish (in a bowl), Pajama Sam, and Spy Fox. Usually my dreams are fairly fuzzy when I wake up, but this time I remembered a lot of little details that made it almost seem real, like Freddi commenting the she was glad the cards were waterproof, noticing Fatty Bear's head mounted on the wall in the background, and Putt-Putt and Sam playing Cheese and Crackers together after both being eliminated.
