Windowed mode on startup for YAGA games

Interesting option I found buried in code. Pass -w as an argument to the game EXE to force the game to run in windowed mode.

E.G.

PajamaLRS -w

PuttPuttPBS -w

Will make it way easier to record footage and such like that. The game also seems to generally run better.

IIRC, the YAGA games save whether you have windowed mode on even without using that launch option, since most of them gave it as an ingame option.

No, they don't save the option. The SCUMM games do, the Yaga games don't.

I tried this, but it just goes to fullscreen like it normally would. Do I have to do this in a certain way?

I did it from the command line, CD to the folder the game is in and then type the commands as listed. (Assuming the Junior Adventures.)

All the data for the games were installed in my flash drive. Believe me, the load times would be intolerable on this thing otherwise.

What else would play from, the CD-ROM? (Please no.)

Okay, to clarify, I used the CD-rom to fully install everything of the two Yaga games onto my flash drive. That way, I don't need to use the CD-rom to run the game. Which is really good for me, since playing the game off the CD is just intolerable for me because then it's so much laggier.

Well, assuming I run the game off my flash drive, what am I supposed to do exactly?

1. Open command prompt

2. type cd drive:\path\to\game

3. type gameexename.exe -w

I tried that with a non-SCUMM game, once (Sonic 3D Blast), but that didn't seem to work!

Not all games accept the same params...
