Actually, no. They're the icons for the Mac versions. Sorry to disappoint.

Yeah, those icon brings back so many memories. I grew up with a Mac and Putt-Putt saves the Zoo was the first game I owned. I still miss the yellow mouse cursor.

Those icons look cool. I think Humongous would have used them for the Windows versions of "Putt-Putt Joins the Parade," "Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise" and "Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon," but they only planned to reuse the icons from the original MS-DOS versions of them. It's because they're higher in quality than the ones from the MS-DOS versions. They would have also reused the icon from the Macintosh version of "Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo" by the time they were working on the 1999 version for Windows, but however, just like with the HE classics, they wanted to keep the first version of the icon.

The mac icons are actually lower resolution than the Windows icons, which might be why. They look hideous when blown up to windows size. They're also rather colourful, and older versions of Windows could only display icons with a few colours.
